My Top 5 Best Dressed At The 2015 TONY AWARDS!

As I had said in my last post ( My Picks For CFDA ) there are different degrees of the infamous Red Carpet!
There are different styles of dressing for different Red Carpet occasions, some allowed a person to project their own style while other demand the highest quality of couture gowns and high paid stylist!

Well since this is The Tony Awards which honor the actors and actresses of  Broadway theater this Red Carpet is very sophisticated and proper! You should NOT see ostrich features / boas, ultra mini cocktail, neon colors, cut outs, see through or outlandish dresses, of course this is just my opinion and there is an exception to every rule.

As you will see I went with the sophisticated, proper and classic fashions which no one could ever go wrong with on the Red Carpet, So I hope you enjoy my top 5 Best Dressed in no particular order!

JENNIFER LOPEZ Rocking a faux bob, JLo is a dream in this navy and gold ball Valentino Couture gown Dimitrios Kambouris/Getty Images for Tony Awards Productions

( My opinion )
Miss Jlo does it again! I love this gown from the color, to the dark gold spangles, the cut across the bust and length of the gown! I love the way her light skin tone looks behind this shade of navy blue. Her dark burgundy lips, smokey eyes and gold high lights that match the gold spangles in the dress are superb! The small matching clutch is also a great touch. So it's no surprise when I say she looks amazing as always!

HELEN MIRREN The iconic actress picks a lacy Badgley Mischka gown with billowing draped sleeves for her outfit du jour. Dimitrios Kambouris/Getty Images for Tony Awards Productions

HELEN MIRREN Tony Awards Red Carpet 2015
( My Opinion )
I'm a big advocate when it comes to age appropriate dressing, even though there are some women in their 50's/60's who are in better shape than some women in their 30's/40's, I just believer it's the proper etiquette for the Red Carpet. That's why I had to pick Helen Mirren! even though she has a body that any age woman would kill for, she decide to go with a sophisticated and age appropriate gown. The subtle plunge line and short bob haircut keeps her looking fresh and modern, while the exquisite beading around the neck and waist line and sheer draping sleeves with beautiful embroidery makes this elegant off white gown a real fashion moment!

GRETCHEN MOL It's a slinky black gown for the star. Kevin Mazur/Getty Images for Tony Awards Productions

 ( My Opinion )
Some of the best advice I could give any women who says she's wearing a black dress is,
MAKE SURE IT'S A GORGEOUS BLACK DRESS!!
Black could get a little boring and blend in the crowd, that's why it should be a knock out!And by all means Gretchen Mol high shine black one shoulder dress is amazing! This is exactly what I meant when I made the above statement, now this type of shiny material cloud sometimes come across like lingerie, but her pop of color lipstick, up hairdo and stylish accessories like dangling earring, statement cocktail ring and black clutch makes this black dress Red Carpet ready!

JENNIFER NETTLES The singer is refined in a draped one-shoulder champagne design. Dimitrios Kambouris/Getty Images for Tony Awards Productions

JENNIFER NETTLE Tony Awards Red Carpet 2015
 ( My Opinion )
When I hear the words sophisticated and elegant images of silk, chiffon, diamonds and champagne pop in my head! So of course a dress made up of all those elements like Jennifer Nettles wore on the Red Capet would have to be in my top 5 best dressed! I am speechless about this throwback to old Hollywood glamour look! the fit and flow is flawless ( try to say that fast 3 times in a row ) and the Audrey Hapburn hair and makeup is timeless, Absolutely love this!

JUDITH LIGHT Found: The most sophisticated white lace jumpsuit to hit the red carpet yet! Dimitrios Kambouris/Getty Images for Tony Awards Productions

JUDITH LIGHT Tony Awards Red Carpet 2015
( My Opinion )
Like I said in my opening statement there is always an exception to the rule, especially when it comes to the ones you love! Being a 80's kid I was and still am a big fan of Judith Light from TV's sitcom Who's The Boss? She played Angela Bower the queen of ready to wear, any time she walked on the TV screen she was styled from heard to toe, always looking rich and beautiful with expensive ensembles and fashionable accessories, Ok I had a bit of a crush on her ( Still Do ) I believe if Angela Bower the president of Bower agency would have walk the Red Carpet today this is exactly what she would had worn! A chic wide leg white jumpsuit with lace top which is also runs down the sides of the pants. Her signature blond hair was just as sleek and cool as the jumpsuit it self, some bling accessorizes and large white clutch completes the Red Carpet look which needs no shoulder pads or Tony Micelli thank you very much!
